Highlights

Dr. Margaret Chisolm, Johns Hopkins Medicine

Since about 2015, I’ve been branching out from teaching only psychiatry learners to teaching humanized care skills to pre-medical and medical students. Most excited about how art museum-based learning activities can foster challenging-to-teach clinical excellence skills like capacity for wonder and tolerance for ambiguity.

Dr. Eric Last, Northwell Health

Making a point to take more time writing, reflecting, and teaching (when possible).

I recently downloaded @Dr_Oubre clinical documentation guide because good notes lead to better patient care. And I would be especially foolish to think my notes don’t need a tune up. Ha!

Dr. Mike Fingerhood, Johns Hopkins Medicine

At work, I am trying to focus on things that bring joy and limit aspects that are more likely to result in frustration.

Dr. Marilee Savasuk, Boise, Idaho

Last summer I bought a gravel bike to make a point to get outside after work. Now, I ride with my new friends every weekend and we even enter races together just for fun!

Dr. Michael Steele, Phoenix, Arizona

I haven’t traveled much. So this winter, I planned a trip with my best friend to Slovenia. It broadened my global perspective to learn about a culture that I knew nothing about.
