Working in my field was a deep dive into the intricacies of mind and heart. My counterbalance to the anguish my patients presented was (and still is) my creative life where, as a graphic artist, I can bring some levity to the human condition.
Here I’ve drawn a heart, an organ representing the poetics and mysteries of human feelings but transformed into an Urban Organ or cityscape replete with neighborhoods and signage for the visitor about to experience its complexities. I am grateful I can generate my own amusement!
