Highlights

Dr. Eric Last, Northwell Health, NY

Just finished “These Vital Signs,” by the remarkable @TheRealDoctorT. Just started “The Covenant of Water,” by the equally remarkable @abe_verghese (and as a notoriously slow reader “Covenant” will also likely be on my holiday season list as well lol.)

Dr. Buck Greenough, Johns Hopkins Medicine

“Pathogenesis: A History of the World in Eight Plagues,” by Jonathan Kennedy. It looks at the diverse interactions of hominids and the microbial world.
