I protest against the NFL’s obscene treatment of Colin Kaepernick by not watching ever since.

Dr. Margaret Chisolm, Johns Hopkins Medicine

I love football and love supporting the players who have been very active in BLM and now have “End Racism” printed on helmets and in end zones, as well as names of Black victims of police on their helmets.

But to answer the question, I typically like to make air popped popcorn seasoned with Old Bay to eat only when I watch the Ravens play. I’m a huge fan of the Ravens and Lamar Jackson so Old Bay seasoning seems fitting!

Dr. Aline Charabaty, Johns Hopkins Medicine

Chile lime shrimp! It’s my tradition!

While I pride myself on being a creative cook, when it comes to football eats, I prefer the classics: chili, nachos, and wings.

Dr. Ambereen Mehta, Johns Hopkins Medicine

Chips and seven-layer dip! Dip dip dip!

Dr. Chase Anderson, UCSF

Pepperoni and sausage deep dish pizza. Also, I have this thing about ranch Doritos. It’s NEVER wrong to eat them during a game.

Dr. Jeff Millstein, Penn Medicine

Watching football makes me feel that I can eat as if I actually played in the game. Judging from game day commercials, I don’t think I’m alone.
